MANSFIELD, Texas – May 3, 2017 – Did somebody say barbeque? This weekend barbeque fans from across this great state will be rejoicing and sinking their teeth into some real Texas pit barbeque at Smokey MAE’s in Mansfield, Texas. Saturday, May 6, promises to be quite an event. The Ticket radio station will be doing a live broadcast from 12 – 2 p.m. and there will be ticket giveaways, games and prizes.

Rodney Lambert, “Lamb”, is the larger-than-life General Manager and Pitmaster at Smokey MAE’s. Rodney’s history with barbeque goes way back to his grandma’s kitchen. You can bet folks will be lined up around the building for his mouth-watering ribs and juicy brisket. He’s been cooking barbeque for over 30 years in big and small towns across America. Rodney was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and plans to give his loyal followers a taste of what he’s spent his whole life perfecting. Get those napkins ready folks and prepare for a face-down meat dive!
Smokey MAE’s is located at 8120 Rendon Bloodworth Road in Mansfield, Texas.The new restaurant will have plenty of different meats cooked on pits with real hard wood. There will be plenty of sides and a huge sauce bar that will feature sauces from across America, sure to please every taste.
“The anticipation for this restaurant has been building for a long time. There’s been so much buzz in the last few months and the whole community is excited to finally see it open. It’s a big win for the city of Mansfield”, said Mansfield Chamber of Commerce President, Lori Williams.
Smokey MAE’s grand opening will be from 10:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.
